- NRB is India’s largest needle and cylindrical roller bearings producer headquartered in Mumbai. NRB was incorporated in 1965.
- NRB has further ventured into the Industrial bearing segment and founded NRB Industrial Bearings in 2012.
- NRB went one step ahead in October 2012 after its joint venture with IBC Wälzlager GmbH, one of Germany’s oldest manufacturers of super precision bearings for the machine tool and aerospace industries. and founded NRB-IBC Bearings Pvt Ltd, India’s first and only manufacturer of super precision bearings
The Challenge
They are one of the oldest names in the bearings industry, the owners of the NRB Bearings had tried everything offline: Overseas Expos, affiliate marketing, etc…they needed better, and more results.
We were brought on to put together an SEO lead generation strategy. The KPIs came down to inquiries – website traffic alone wouldn’t count so we are not going to talk about traffic here.
The Strategy
- Improved internal linking to keep users clicking through and for the benefit of Google.
- Re-wrote the content of the website by adding the relevant keywords in the content smartly.
- Keyword mapping strategy so they could pursue more keywords.
- Splitting one page into two pages in order to pursue very niche specific words, and that made a huge difference.
- Made the navigation and page naming conventions more intuitive and clear.
- Made the CTAs more prominent.
The Results
200+ Keywords started ranking
- Were able to improve the number of leads by 150%.
- Were able to rank them on top 10 positions on the crucial business keywords.
